UPON ARRIVAL AT CAMP: Your camper will be checked by the Health Supervisor for head lice and general health. If these requirements are not met, you will be notified. For the health, safety and well being of you own child and others in camp PLEASE SEND A HEALTHY CHILD TO CAMP.
We have a "no cell phone" policy at Camp Oliver.
Please see our Camper Supply List for other items not allowed at camp. Not only are cell phones expensive and may get lost or stolen, we are promoting an environment where your child can practice their independence. We will contact you in the unlikely event that your camper has a problem while at Camp Oliver. For safety reasons digital cameras are not allowed at Camp Oliver. Please pack a disposable camera with your child.
PARENT SURVEY: We will be sending home a Parent Survey with your camper after their session at camp. It is important to us to know how we are doing on our goals. You can help us measure our outcomes by taking the time to give us your feedback. By observing your child's behavior and hearing their experience you can help evaluate the effect of the camp experience. The goals of Camp Oliver are that campers will develop a strong sense of self, practice interpersonal skills to build healthy relationships and acquire an appreciation and understanding of nature and the outdoors.
Through the generosity of the Social Service Auxiliary, the Community Campership Council, and other donors, Camp Oliver has financial assistance available for qualified applicants. Please contact us for more information and ask about interest free payment plans.
Camperships are available for all Camp sessions, given on a first come first serve basis. A $100 deposit is still required to process the campership applications.
There is a $25 charge for returned checks.
